3050 Fort Denaud Road was born in 1979 as a somewhat typical CBS 3/2 split plan ranch home. The two guest bedrooms were separated by a guest bath with a tiled shower stall. The kitchen was a galley type, with the then popular drop down ceiling with fluorescent lighting panels. A tiny sink peninsula looked into the dining room. The south end of the kitchen was a dark dead end, though a doorway to the living room saved steps when it came time for evening TV snacks. The front door featured the standard coat closet (rarely used in south Florida) in a tiny entry area before you turned left to enter the living room. The major remodel the second owners did in 2013 made the changes you see at left. Photos on the following pages will further explain the changes made from the original plan.
